#ConnectedBiz is the Twitter hashtag for Enterprising Barnsley’s annual conference Connected Business – Making Online Work For Your Bottom Line.
The event tomorrow will be Enterprising Barnsley’s third conference, and I’m delighted to be asked back after speaking at their
first event in 2012.
Clockwise from top left in Enterprising Barnsley’s photo of the line-up:
Me and CubeSocial – I’m going to be speaking about the evolution of LinkedIn, and questioning whether LinkedIn profiles are now a business basic or burden;
Adrian McEwen, MCQN – will talk about the rise of interconnected smart devices and how the ‘internet of things’ could impact business in the future;
Greg Williams, WIRED – hosting the conference;
Simon Biltcliffe, Webmart – will share his experience of taking advantage of digital resources in order to grow his business; and
Rory Cellan-Jones, BBC Technology Correspondent – conference keynote.

Mark Asquith’s masterclass, see: Agenda

You may have seen us sharing this on social media recently… but on the basis that you can never have too much of a good thing, here’s our shiny new video providing a whistle-stop tour of
CubeSocial in just over 2 minutes.

Do yourself a favour. Grab a cuppa, find a quiet spot and spend a well deserved 30 minutes watching this.
Here’s what the audience said…
Are you still trying to persuade your boss, partners or colleagues about the business value of social media? This could help…
Here’s a video of
CubeSocial CEO Linda Cheung at a recent Ariadne Capital/ Entrepreneur Country event on the topic of the ROI of social media.
CubeSocial CEO Linda Cheung on the ROI of Social Media
Linda explains the value we have gained from social media, and also shows case studies of
law firms using social media to win business.
The video is well worth a few minutes of your time. To quote a few of the live tweets from the event:

Very clever of @LindaCheungUK to use lawyers as her Twitter case study. If they can benefit, any sector can. #ECWorkshop
